Business Developer

About the role

Cyfora is looking for a Business Developer to help drive national and international growth. This position is based in Belgium. Cyfora positions itself as "your CISO companion". On one hand we offer CISO services as a service, on the other hand we have developed a platform that gives customers real time insight into their cyber maturity, based on compliance and technology best practices. Cyfora is in a growth phase and wants to strengthen its presence in Belgium and internationally, with freemium self service and global online recurring sales as new channels.

Role and responsibilities

As a Business Developer you combine direct sales with building digital sales channels. The role covers five core areas.

  • Direct sales in Belgium and internationally: independently prospecting, approaching and visiting potential customers, and building and managing your own pipeline and customer portfolio, from first contact to contract signature.

  • Freemium channel via the website: make the platform's freemium model work commercially. This covers the funnel and onboarding journey, lead qualification and scoring, and commercial follow up of generated leads with a view to converting them into paying customers.

  • Global online sales channel: help build an international, fully online channel where customers can purchase the platform worldwide by credit card, based on a recurring subscription model (invoicing, renewals, cancellation, payment provider integration).

  • Collaboration with marketing: work together with the marketing team on positioning, content, campaigns and lead generation for the direct, freemium and online channels.

  • Input on strategy: use market knowledge and sales results to help shape Cyfora's commercial and growth strategy, in consultation with the managing director.

Profile

Based on these responsibilities, we are looking for someone with the following profile.

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS and/or cybersecurity

  • Good knowledge of and network in the Belgian and international market

  • Experience collaborating with other sales teams or resources without direct hierarchical authority (matrix working, influencing, cooperation)

  • Affinity with digital and e-commerce sales models and recurring revenue (freemium to paid, online self service sales)

  • Strategic thinking and comfortable talking with management and board

  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous and results driven mindset

  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary, supplemented with the usual Belgian package.

  • Variable pay linked to an annual revenue target (new customers and/or expansions)

  • Meal vouchers

  • Hospitalisation and group insurance

  • Company car

  • 32 or more days of leave (20 statutory days and ADV)

  • Hybrid working: at customers, at the office and at home

  • Reimbursement of expenses for representation, training and travel
